Jessica completed her master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Abilene Christian University with a concentration in Medical Family Therapy. She is a member of the Alpha Gamma Chapter of Delta Kappa International Marriage and Family Therapy Honor Society.

Over the years, Jessica has worked with children and adolescents through community-based initiatives that address self-esteem, anger management, and peer pressure by developing communication, limit setting, and behavior management skills. Most recently, she worked at a Crisis Residential Unit with individuals who required crisis intervention, resolution, or stabilization of symptoms or behaviors related to mental illness, substance abuse, and suicidality. She has extensive knowledge of working with multiple populations, such as individuals diagnosed with major depressive disorder (MDD), bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia.

Jessica is committed to helping clients work through challenging events, emotions, and behaviors that affect their quality of life and relationships with others. Jessica seeks to create a safe, welcoming, and non-judgmental space using empathy and hope. She believes a warm and trusting environment is vital in approaching and addressing each client’s individual and systemic needs. Jessica is fluent in Spanish and offers therapy for Spanish-speaking individuals and families.
