Claudine Lucena, MA, LMFT-Associate, LPC-Intern
Claudine has been with Austin Family Institute since 2014, having worked in both administrative and clinical roles within the organization. She brings several years of experience in non-profit work as well as a strong passion for AFI's mission to provide affordable services and increase access to mental health care. Since graduating with her bachelor's degree in Human Development & Family Sciences from The University of Texas at Austin, Claudine has enjoyed helping the organization grow and expand to continue serving the Austin community.
In addition to her role as Head of Administration, Claudine sees clients as a Post-Graduate Associate Therapist, working with individuals, couples, and families of all ages and presenting issues. She has a passion for working with multicultural concerns, women's issues, depression, relational conflict, parents and teens, young adult issues, life transitions, chronic illness or medical issues, and couples and families impacted by autism.
