Christine Adams is a St. Edward's University graduate with a Master of Arts in Counseling. Her passion for counseling developed as an undergraduate at Westmont College when she interned at a transition house in San Francisco. As an intern, she worked with clients and families in recovery from substance abuse and homelessness. Prior to relocating to Austin, she worked extensively with youth and their families in Southern California as well as remote parts of both the Navajo Nation and Central Texas. She implemented quality outreach programs which strengthened community relations, literacy skills, and developed lifelong healthy habits foundational for stable, bright futures of those in need.

Christine's approach to counseling is integrative and collaborative, firmly rooted in systems theory and neurobiology. The therapy she provides is evidence-based and goal-driven. She emphasizes the idea of joining with clients, focusing on building rapport and creating a safe space to facilitate a better understanding of self and others. Utilizing various models and techniques, Christine's treatment aims to bring change and/or symptom relief to individuals, couples, and families.
