Ashlyn Bellamy, BA
Ashlyn is pursuing a Master of Arts in Counseling with a concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy at St. Edward's University. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication from Texas State University. Ashlyn knows that her education and professional experiences have informed her passion to work with clients using a systemic lens. She pays attention to and considers the effects of larger social systems on a person’s wellbeing. She also finds it important to consider relational contexts when working with clients. Ashlyn provides therapy to couples, families, and individuals.
As a therapist, Ashlyn strives to provide a non-judgmental environment in which clients can feel listened to, seen, and understood. She believes that every human has the innate capacity for healing and growth, and provides a safe space for clients to express their concerns and hopes. Ashlyn believes that healing and learning to love oneself often happens within supportive relationships. Therapy can be the safe, supportive space to begin that process. She views therapy as a collaborative process and honors her clients as the experts of their lives and experiences.
